The narrator tells us that the story is fictional and that no real events are depicted. The narrator says that the young master is carrying him because he has a special relationship with him. He says that he is carrying a woman for the first time in his life and she is unwilling. He tells the narrator that the men abducted him for a nightluminescent pearl that belonged to the fat leader of the group. He adds that the group of men tonight is different than the ones at the hotel because whoever is behind them is "really something" . He asks the vice president to investigate the pearl and the men behind it. The vice president says that they confessed that they wanted to rape and kick Seyfried. Seyfried escaped, and she was able to bring the men to a secret location. She says that when she carried them to the secret location, she felt that she was "quite slim" and that they beat them until they did not dare to move. She wonders if it is because the young man is in love with Seyfried and decides to go and find out.
