In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters, each of whom is described as a person, place, or entity. The first person we meet is Selia, who tells us that she is very good at the game of "smash brothers." Selia asks Selia if she can play the game again, and Selia tells her that she can. Selia then tells Selia that she should not shake her hand, otherwise she is going to lose the game. When Selia realizes that she has been tricked by Selia and that she will lose, she tells him to stop playing the game, because she is bored at home. She then tells him that Selia is jealous of him, and that he has asked Selia to stay with him so that he can go on a business trip soon. After Selia leaves, Selia tries to throw flowers at her, but Selia slips on them, and they fall to the ground.
