The next morning, Silvia wakes up in the middle of the night to find that her husband has turned the power back on. She's worried that he's trying to force her to do something he doesn't want to do, and she can't figure out how to stop him. Silvia tries to calm her down by telling her that it's easier for her to turn on parts of her body that have more nerve endings than it is to turn off parts that don't have any nerve endings at all. She tells Silvia that she can teach her how to use her hands to make her happy, and that she'll be able to do it after she gets used to it.
