When the police arrive, they find that the suspect has been shot in the shoulder and that a civilian has been stabbed by him. The police chief tells the group that the wounded man is not seriously hurt, but that he will need an ambulance to get to the hospital. The chief also tells them that Nemo tried to kill himself once, but was stopped by Nemo's father, who was also a police officer.
