About This Chapter
The next morning, Hirokazu finds himself in the middle of a conversation with his sister, who has come to see him. She tells him that she and her husband have been separated for a long time, and that her husband has not been able to help her. She asks him to tell her what has happened, and he tells her that he has been unable to do so because he has not had enough time to get his hair cut. He then tells her about the conversation he had with her sister, and she tells him about her father and her sister of husband's marriage. She then asks him what kind of wife he would have for her sister-in-law. He tells her to tell him about the kind of husband she would have if she were his wife. She says that she has not wanted to marry her husband because she does not want to be a burden to his family. She also tells him not to try to date her, as she is used to looking after "wastes of space" like him. He asks her how she got each of her family members and she says that he is the one who does not get it. She goes on to say that even though he did not know anything, he helped her because she called for help. She adds that she asked for help because she was "sy g place" , and this is what he said. He says he does not owe her anything, because he is not a "busi ness" . He adds that he was just playing nice since he helped him, and now he is angry because he thinks he is being serious. He breaks down in tears, saying that he never stopped hating his wife, because she is a "husband and wife," and that everything in his life begins with her.
