Okay, now we're back in Hiroshi's apartment, where Hiroshi and his friends are studying. Hiroshi is psyched to be back, and he's even more psyched when he finds out that his father just came home from the war. He's bummed that his dad doesn't seem to care about him, but he also knows that he'll be back soon enough. Okay, so now we get to meet Hiroshi, who's totally psyched to have his friend back. He tells Hiroshi that he was a classmate of his back at the academy, and that his friend's dad just came back from war. Uh-oh, Hiroshi says, and Hiroshi apologizes for being so excited about his dad's return. He also says that he just wants to get back to school ASAP, so he'd like Hiroshi to help him out with his homework. He asks Hiroshi if there's anything he can do to help, and the two of them agree that they'd be happy to help out. But Hiroshi isn't so sure. He says that if Hiroshi studies hard enough, he should be able to beat him in the upcoming exams. He then tells him that he should forget about his crush, Tamura, and get on with his studies ASAP. He goes on to say that he has serious concerns about who assigned him to public safety, and so he wants him to forget about Tamura and focus on his studies.
