In this chapter, we learn that Krook and Damis have been friends since they were children, and that Damis's sister, Krook's, is his sister. Damis tells his sister that he and Krook were "child hood friends" back in high school, but that they've been avoiding trouble ever since. Krook asks Damis if he's having any trouble, and he tells him that he can't go home because he has to go to his school, which is called Harada. He tells Damis that if he wants to go home, he should call his guardian first, but Damis won't listen to his sister's pleas. He says that he has a job to do, and when it comes to making decisions, he'll have to do it on his own.
