In this chapter, we learn that the high school girl, Kyoko, has married a policeman, Miyoshi, who is also her father's name. Kyoko has agreed to live with her parents until she graduates from high school, and Miyoshi has agreed not to tell anyone about the incident that occurred when she was a child.
