In this chapter, we are introduced to the protagonist, who is studying for the entrance exam to the university. He feels that he has changed his ways and wishes that he had a tutor to help him with his studies. He complains that he is the only person in the group who can speak the language, and that his mother has taught him how to do the exam. He also complains about the fact that the other students do not seem to understand the meaning of the word "sick" in the exam questions. He asks if there is a guy he likes, and the protagonist replies that he does. He then asks the protagonist where he wants to go for the summer break. The protagonist tells him that he asked him where he wanted to go.
