In this chapter, we learn that Ward is going to school in Tokyo, which means that he's going to have to go back to school. He's bummed out that he won't be able to go to school with his friends, but he wants to go anyway, so he tells his mom he'll go to Tokyo to get his education. He tells her to be sad, because he doesn't want to be left behind. He also tells her not to worry, because they'll figure out a way to stop him.
