About This Chapter
In this chapter, we meet Hiroshitsuboguchi, the young man who has just returned from a tournament in Japan. Hiroshi tells us that he brought his friend's phone to the tournament because he was in a bit of a bind. He also tells us about how hard Hiroshi worked to get to this point, and how he hopes that his friend will give it to him as well. He tells Hiroshi that he thinks Hiroshi is a good player, but that his club doesn't have a lot of luck at all, and that Hiroshi's only skill is that he plays with speed. He asks Hiroshi to tell him what he can do to improve, and Hiroshi says that he'll do it in two weeks when he's ready to play against a real opponent. He says that his name is "haruka inokuma" , which means that he can't play with speed anymore, because his kids are getting slower and slower. He's not good enough to beat Hiroshi, he says, because he hasn't given it everything he has. He wants Hiroshi and his friends to practice with him, and he says that if he loses to Hiroshi in a tournament, he won't do it again until he beats him in a real match.
