In this chapter, we find out that Harada is not going to let his daughter play her own game of karuta. He's going to try and get as many cards as he can out of her. Harada's hands are moving slowly, and he's not using them very well. He doesn't have good reflexes either, but he'll be able to get any card he wants out of his opponent. Some players are starting to get tired of the game, and they're starting to have trouble concentrating. They're also starting to lose their right hand, and Harada can't figure out how to stop them. She's just getting better and better, and she's about to give birth to her second child. This is a good thing, because Harada would have lost this match even if she hadn't had the baby. She says that if she could hear the trees, she'd know how to get rid of the slow hands of Harada. She also says that she'll make sure that she squeezes Harada so that he can never hit the brakes again. She thinks it's a good idea to do this, since Harada isn't strong enough to play a queen match.
