In this chapter, we learn that blondie's identity is the cause of everything that has happened to him in the past eighteen years. He tells his brother that he has submitted his resignation and plans to return to his native country, but that the woman who has been spying on him, whom he calls "grey rose," has intercepted countless of his weapons and has sent them back to him. He says that he can only stay in this apartment for a few months before going to university, and that he tries to return as soon as possible, but no one cares about him at home. He explains that he is just like air, and nothing matters. He asks his brother why he is so heartless, and he tells him that he owes him everything, including food, clothing, and even sending him to school. He also asks why he raised such an "unfilial son," and he asks why his brother is not his biological son. He apologizes to his brother and tells him to hurry and apologize to his father.
