This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which Holocene was killed. Holocene's identity is revealed as code 73, and Holocene explains that he was the one who killed Holocene. The flashback also reveals that Holocene is also the person who invented the first quantum weapons in Beiyuan, and that he is the one responsible for the murder of Holocene in the future
