In the lair, Lockwood tries to convince Lockwood's grandmother to let him have a "taste" of what life is like as a spy. Lockwood admits that he's not a very good spy, but he says he'll do what's best for his neighbor. Lockwood tells his grandmother that he plans to go to the dance tonight, and Lockwood says that he doesn't want to be the first person to become a lab rat. He's going to find out who the first rat is, and then he can figure out how to get into the lair. Lockwood asks his grandmother to make him a pair of pants so that he can wear them when he gets back. Lockwood also tells Lockwood that he hasn't seen his son in a couple of days, and that the members of the music club are worried about him. Lockwood promises to find him, and says that both Lockwood and Lockwood were the ones who asked him to leave the hospital two days ago. He says that if Lockwood is found, Lockwood will be the one who asks him out, and he will kill Lockwood.
