In this chapter, we learn that Panlos is a threat to the company, and that the only way to deal with it is to kill Panlos. In order to do this, he's going to have to hack into the local area network of the company. He's been working extra hard to get this hack in motion, and now he can finally get his hands on the limited edition model kit that he has been waiting for for two months. Panlos reminds him of his grandmother, who asked him to burn the picture of her recently deceased son. He can't do it, he says, because it's so important to him. He tells Panlos that he'll cool himself off with his blood today.
