This chapter begins with a description of the young master, zixiao. He is a cunning young man who has direct knowledge of healing and poison, and he is accompanied by his elder brother, senior brother. The elder brother is scared of his younger sister, and is jealous of the younger sister's father. He tells his sister that he is the best martial artist in town, and yet he has lost to a child. He warns her that she is taking a child into her harem, and that she should not use force against him. He says that the strongest king in the kingdom is the one that is good at strategizing, defeating enemies, and looking out for his own interests. The young master tells his older brother not to play tricks with him, otherwise he will kill her and then he will jump off of the roof with her to die. He then tells his younger brother to shake him first and he will let him go. He also tells his senior brother to think of his male harem and not to let them be widows, as he will strangle them if they act rashly. He adds that he will also strangle the young man if he does not follow his father's orders. The younger brother tells him not to step ahead, and the elder brother agrees to fight with him.
