In the fog, Su Su sneaks up on the sleeping couple and asks them if they'd like to marry her now. Su says he's already taken the initiative, so he doesn't have to explain what he means by "taking the initiative" . Su begs them to accept him. He's willing to break the rules of morality and ethics to be his "concubine" , and he wants to be the one to break them all. Su admits that he knows he shouldn't care about the family anymore, but he'd still like to be Su's concubine as long as he accepts her. He begs her to take off her gloves and let him do whatever he wants with her. She disperses, and Su realizes that she's hallucinating. He asks why there's nothing under the bed, and she says she didn't even see anything. She's not sure what's going on.
