In this chapter, we learn that the Pandas have returned to the mainland, and that the baby is now a boy. The Pandas are overjoyed at the news, and they decide to take the child to the panda-cave, where they first met and fell in love with each other. The couple decides to take a tour of the cave, and the narrator tells us that this is the first time that the couple has seen the panda.
