The narrator tells us that the prince has finally decided to ban all animals from dressing up as "dumpling" . The narrator explains that he doesn't like the fact that other people touch the dumpling, and he even gets angry when people touch it. He says that he'd hate for people to touch his kitten or puppy too, since he's a "national treasure." The narrator asks if the prince is getting jealous of him, and the prince says he'll be away for a few days, so the narrator has to sneak into the prince's mansion at night.
