In this chapter, the young woman explains that she has come to the "mortal world" to undergo her "trial" . She tells the audience that she is here to "pass my trial" , not because she likes the prince regent, but because he is "extremely handsome and desirable" and "aggrieved" but she does not dare to order him around because he "hates women" and there are "even few maidservants" in his house. The prince regent is a "dignified prince," and he is at the age of having desires. He is not interested in women, he says, but he does have a good relationship with the prime minister. The prime minister looks after the regent every day, and they are together half the time at night, sometimes at night they will ask their servants to leave their room and the light will be on all night.
