The soldiers decide to blow up the old man's coffin, but they're interrupted by the sound of someone's trying to get inside. The soldier realizes that he's helping the man, and he wants the coffin to be opened so he can pick up some stamps and get half of his credits back. He's bummed that the coffin isn't open, but the soldier says that it'll help him protect himself from the undead. He still needs to find qiubing, but he can't use up all of his remaining days of freedom in this place. He wonders if the undead are crawling out of the coffin, and then he realizes that the place is even weirder than it was when he first arrived. He wants to know why the man is there, and the soldier tells him that he has been looking for him. He tells the soldier that when they were separated, he felt like he was in a dream. He remembers seeing the commander and his comrades, and it was the best two years of his life. He doesn't know why, but it must have been because of the hallucination. He sees a bunch of undead walking corpses, and they all seem to be charging toward him. The corpses seem to have taken the creation bead, which seems to have caused everything. The people who built the coffin intended to blow the place up, but there was an accident. The soldiers need to get up and use the explosives to get out of there. They're still soldiers, after all.
