The guy who was chasing after the mouse king is running away. He's got a tip: go to a hotel called the yin yang inn and ask the owner to help him escape the underworld. The owner will give him a ride to the east, where he can find a place to hide out and escape the mice. The guy says he's going to go first, because he thinks they're going to die if they don't get out of the way. He tells the guy to grab the mice that are chasing after him and hide in a hole in the ground. The mouse king must have his head in his hand, because those mice are "ghost mice" . They're not going to run away, the guy says. He says they should kill the mice first, even though they've already killed the guy that's tagging along with them. He doesn't want to kill the guy who is already dead, since he'll still get his stamp of approval for killing the guy.
