Back at the apartment, the monster is back. He's back, and he's not going to let go. He wants to kill the guy who's been haunting him, but he can't. He needs to find the ex-husband and get him out of the way. He doesn't know what's going on. He just wants to get back to Zhang Haigen and tell him what happened. The whole apartment is full of dead people, including the landlord, his son, his father, and his ex-wife. The monster is totally confused. He thinks that the whole apartment was just created to kill him, and that he needs to go back and check it out. He wonders why the elevator didn't just go straight up to the top of the building. He also wonders why there was a "backlash" on the guy in the first place, and why there weren't more people killed in the second place.
