In this chapter, we are introduced to a new species of human beings, which we will call "new humanity" . We are told that this new humanity is the result of the "theory of human evolution" , which was first introduced in the previous chapter. This chapter introduces us to the characters of the new humanity, including the captain of the airship, who is now referred to as "the captain." The new humanity's first question is, "Is anyone here? Can anyone hear me over here?" . The captain answers, "No, it's not really," and then asks, "Do you want to discover something outside? Why do you ask this? This is actually earth, am I, mi, right? . . Is anyone here?" The captain replies, "How are you?" , and the captain asks if the captain's leg is stuck, and if so, what should they do. He tells the captain to find some antibiotics, but the captain tells him to stop "forcing his self," and to let the captain carry him. The Captain says that this is "the end for us," and that they are all going to die here. He asks the captain if he has seen the captain, to which the captain responds, "This is the end, for us."
