The chapter opens on a foggy island with a bunch of blood worms crawling around. Everyone's trying to eat their way out of the island. Everyone wants to leave, but they don't want to be eaten alive by the blood worms. They're afraid that the rakshas will eat them alive, and they're also afraid that they'll get bitten by the snakes. The two of them decide to go for a walk and see if they can find a way to escape.
