The spirit asks Shaung to go to the snow mountain and bring back the spirit of the snow woman. Shaung refuses, saying that it is too cold outside to go there. He tells his brother that the villagers are planning to kill the woman because she is responsible for the disaster in the village. When Shaung tells him that the village has become senile because of her, Shaung protests that killing the woman will not solve the problem. He begs his brother to take the woman to the valley to look for her.
