When he was a young man, he was told by his father that there were two worlds, one for those who live in the present and another for those living in the future. He wanted to go find the former world, but his father refused to allow him to do so. He never came back. The narrator of the story tells us that he was very young when his father told him about the two worlds. In the present world, there is only one world, and the other world is full of people like him. In this world, he says, there are only two worlds: the one where he lives and the world where his father lives. His father tells him that he wants to
