In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is called "zhu geng fei" or "lover's island" . He is a young man who has come to live on the island with his master, "xiao hong." He is very hungry, and he begs his master to give him a can of food, but his master refuses to do so, saying that they have to be "flirting about it." He tells his master that he has found a can, but that the food is "smoky" and that he cannot eat it with his mistress, "the sumpa spit." . .
