In this chapter, Dr. Manhas explains that he has come to the fish village because he wants to find "ah shui" in the "blissful world" . He wants to leave the place where he has been living for so long, but he finds that the place is full of broken glass and that the entire village is made up of fakes. He goes on to say that he is going to make food and eat it. He says that he caught some sea food the day before and that it was good, but that the food was not good enough for him. He then says that the whole village is just a trick of alesha to make him eat her food. He tells us that he used to run to the world where he was crying and crying, and that he was abandoned by the world. He thinks that he should bring him back to his own world, but then he thinks that the night that he left the place, she did not come back. That night, he tells us, he had a nightmare that he had not had in a long time. He came back to find that the patient had severe depression. He asks where he went that night.
