About This Chapter
The song opens with a soliloquy in which the narrator laments the fact that he has to "hunt down personification" in order to "wash the dirt away" from his beauty. He compares the woman in the photo to a "bastard" and a "living incarnation of problematic toxicity" . The narrator then launches into a tirade against the "toxic" nature of the "post" in which he appears. He accuses the poster of being "targeted for ' atonement' ! . . there is no absolute answer" , and he claims that he is "a very sincere, kind-hearted person ! I hate people who behave crooked ! i am totally a 'good' guy ! " The narrator continues to rant and rave about the "wacky races of love" he has experienced in his life. He claims that the poster is about to go out with his "bf" and that the girl is in love with him. He says that he and the girl were both right, but that being in love is not "problem atic" but "shameless about it"
