In this chapter's opening soliloquy, the voice of a young man named "Ismart" is heard. It's a voice that we've heard many times before, but this time it's different. The young man tells us that he's been playing a game called "The Walking Dead" , and that's how he came to be a "mart" . He's got a phone, and the only way he can see is through the maze, which is like a giant map of the world. The only way to see the maze is by looking at the map, which means that the young man can't see the other players. He can only see the path that leads to the maze. He doesn't know what to do, so he decides to follow the path of his dog, Miyuki, who follows the same path as him. Miyuki is so smart that he can follow Miyuki's path even if Miyuki follows the wrong path. This is the first time Miyuki has ever been alone in a game, and he feels like he has no idea what's going on. He realizes that Miyuki was next to him in the game, so Miyuki must have been super smart. He also realizes that paru--the dog's master--was super smart, too, and Miyuki could do anything Miyuki couldn't do. So Miyuki decides to go ahead and follow the right path, even though Miyuki isn't looking at his phone. He sees a guy dressed up like his family on his web page, who's staring at Miyuki with his eyes, which makes Miyuki freak out. He decides to ignore the guy and crawl along the path to the platform on his screen, which Miyuki can see. He wants to jump onto the platform, but Miyuki won't let him do so. He screams,
