The chapter opens with a description of a new game that's being played on the social network. It's called "ding dong" and it's a game in which people compete to get as many followers as possible. In this case, the people who get the most followers will get to go back to their real lives, and those who lose all of their followers will die. This is a big deal, because it means that people who die in this game are going to die in real life, too. The narrator asks the audience to share the game with him.
