In this short scene, Lady P explains to Ulysses that her brother, Ulysses, has always wanted to return to the empire of his father, iaras. She tells Ulysses that she will not be able to accompany him on his journey because of her identity, but she will be with him at the crossroads leading to the western empire and the cetu. Ulysses tells her that he has been preparing for his departure ever since he heard of the planned rebellion in the west. He says that he was sure that Ulysses would return to quell the rebellion. Ulysses says that the entire continent of the empire will be his for the taking in the near future.
