About This Chapter
The kitchen is on fire, and the servants are running around trying to get the food out of the fire before it burns down. Hilna is cooking for the first time, and she's so excited that she can't wait to share it with her husband. She tells him that the food is from a tribe in the north that's in dire need of help, and that he should give it a coat of paint just like the one he's wearing right now. He's all, "I'm going to give this coat another coat, just like I gave it another coat . . and then I'll give you a butterfly in my hand and you can play with it" . He tells her to take her outside to play, praise her, give her flowers, and then he'll let her go.
