The four of them are bleeding profusely from their wounds. They're not sure how they're going to get to the top of the cave, but they've got a plan: they'll hold onto a vine while they climb up the side of the cliff. If they don't make it up, the cave's going to cave in on them. They can't go any farther, they say, because the soil beneath their feet is going to give way. They need to make sure that the cave doesn't collapse on them, because if they fall too quickly, the ground will give way again. They have to go down as fast as they can, because there's a lot of work to be done in the kingdom.
