The king of saga is horrified to learn that the monsters have killed the girl. He asks the priestess to bring him another stretcher to bandage the wounds of the wounded warrior. The king asks why the warriors from the west are attacking his kingdom. The priestess tells him that the warriors are turning people into monsters and that the war will soon spread to other parts of the world. She asks the king to return to his kingdom as soon as he can. She warns him that if he does not return, the epidemic will spread and innocent people will be killed as a result. She tells the king that he must fight by his side against the monsters, even though he is also injured. She begs him to promise her that he will protect her, just like he always does.
