The scene opens with Viola looking nervous. She has cut off all of her mother's fingers. She asks her mother if she can come back to her. Viola says that she can remove one of the fingers if she wants. Viola tells her mother that she is not angry with her because she got mad because of her. She wants to know why her mother hates her so much. She says that her mother does not love her all the time. Viola cries out that she wants her child.
