The doctor comes to change the bandages on Gulliver's wounds. He tells Gulliver that he has been seriously injured in the first transformation, and that the second one was a "dangerous" one. Gulliver tells the doctor that he is grateful to have a kind master like him. Gulliver asks the doctor not to leave him, but the doctor says he is not a good person. He says that he treats Gulliver badly all the time. Gulliver says he loves him and that he would not have followed him to the Aumnus if his father had not ordered him to report Gulliver' whereabouts to him. He asks the Doctor to stop treating him badly, and the doctor agrees. Gulliver begs the doctor to leave, saying that he cannot lose him, and he realizes that the "small seed of love" has been buried in a big tree. The doctor says that Gulliver is not worthy of serving his master any more, and Gulliver asks him where he is going
