In this chapter, we learn that hades created a "power core" . He wants to use it to control the minds of super-beasts. He also wants to know if colorado can control lubys, the red-haired glutton, after he finds him. He tells us that he's on his way to meet Prince Dioxi, and he needs to cut across the city to get there. He'll kill you if you don't leave him alone. He says that he lost half of Kui's power, so he wants him to take over the position of the night-souls and lead the soldiers against the city's troops. He doesn't want Kui to go to the canal to fight, but if he does, he won't let him follow him around. He asks if they've given up their cultivation, and says that they're a team, and they should share. He wonders how they could do this, and wonders if they have spiritual powers. He knows that they can control their minds, but he can't tell us how. The first half of the adventure has ended, and now it's time for the second half.
