Back at the shop, the blacksmith tells the young master that he will have to give his equipment back if he does not return it. The young master says that he has already told him that his equipment would be damaged if he did not buy a protective potion. The blacksmith says that it is robbery for him to not pay for his equipment, but he understands that the customer is just in time. He tells the old man that he must teach him a lesson today.
