This chapter opens with a description of the internal hall of the house of the night soul. It is a place where the souls of those who have died are gathered to worship or pray for love. In this room, the soul of each person is represented by a statue. The soul of the person who died in the previous life is represented in the statue of the fairy cat. The statue is a symbol of love. The cat asks the monk to show him the statue. He tells the monk that he is a clone of the monk from the last life. He pretends that he does not know the existence of the soul, but he does know that the monk is a member of the strongest clan of the blue stars. The monk tells him that they were summoned to the hall by the queen because of her night soul, and that he will make him talk in person.
