In this chapter, the two young men discuss their plans to fight each other. The text kid says that he's going to kill all the souls in the city to avenge his brother's death. The young man says that the only reason he didn't kill the young man earlier was because he was too weak to fight. He also says that they're going to meet in the West of the city, where there's a lot of fighting going on. He's worried that the young men are planning to kill him alone. The two men decide to fight in the middle of the night, so that they won't be able to see each other's faces. The old man says, "I've been fighting since I was a kid. I've always been using fists. You have to beat me first before you can kill holy light" . He says that his guardian spirit wants him to be broken. He doesn't think he can beat the old man, but he can't stop him from fighting anyway. He asks if the old woman is preparing a big move for him, and the old guy says he'll hold on to her and buy some time.
