This chapter's epigraph comes from a line in the play, "What are goin' to look on the face of Qianxue? It's yu, and that them" . This is a quote from the play's opening soliloquy, in which the protagonist asks the audience to imagine a world in which only one guild is allowed to leave the new village each year. The protagonist says that the only guild left in the village is the guy and his lead. He says that he's going to kill them, but he doesn't want to do it with his chest. He wants to use the night soul to protect his chest from the attacks of the other guilds. He also wants to
