This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the Panda bear, who apologizes to the Panda for all that he's done to her. He tells her that the Panda master has forbidden her to return to him, and if she doesn't, he'll soon die in the world. Panda says that she's already back, and that she won't ever leave him again. She tells him that he just left her there to "deal with the mess," and now they're "flirting here" . Panda tells her to celebrate her awakening by having a big dinner. The Panda master says that he has conquered most of the kingdom, and now everyone will have a feast. Panda asks if he should make peace with the Panda Master or submit to him. He says that if he retreats or storms, it'll not save the kingdom. Panda reminds her that Linyuan did not kill her because he saw the turtle, and she tells him to tell her what he should be thinking. He's blushing, she says, and he says he can wait a bit longer, but that it's "not healthy" for him to keep thinking too much.
