The next day, the doctor says, he'll do whatever he can to make sure that Mina doesn't die from the poison. Mina says she's going to go in and try to get her husband's blood. The doctor says it's better to kill someone before they're really sick than to try and kill them after they've been poisoned. Mina tells the doctor she'll go in anyway. She's sad that she and the doctor aren't expecting any children yet, but she promises to keep changing her blood.
