In the middle of the hunt, Linyuan tells the men that the king wants them to kill Zhouyong with poisoned wine. The men are horrified at the idea of killing a man who has raped their wives. Linyuan then tells them that they should give each man a cup of poisoned wine and decide whether or not to give the wine to Zhouyong or to drink it themselves. They will then have 15 minutes to make up their minds. They then give the men three minutes to decide whether to give their wine to the king or to themselves. After the men have made their decision, they are to be confronted by the men of the influential family.
