Linyuan says that he does not know if the sisters have changed or not. He says that they have been imprisoned for five years and that they are the only ones who matter to him. He adds that he cannot always let his sister help him and comfort him like this. The Empress Dowager is still alive, and Linyuan is worried that she will escape from the palace. He asks her why she did not kill her to avenge him. She says that she was imprisoned by some well-known families back then, and that Linyuan was not prepared for this. She adds that although Linyuan failed to avenge her, he will forgive her since she is still young. The next episode, he says, will show him how to respect his father.
