In this chapter, we learn that chengxi and his friend, yang muli, have been forced to postpone their business trip because of the events of the previous day. In order to return the favor, Ming asks Ming to meet him at the school canteen. Ming replies that he has already gone to the dessert shop to tell Ming that he and xi are in love. Ming asks when Ming will be able to introduce Ming to her friends, and Ming says that he wants to hold Ming's hand and show him to her and her other friends. Ming tells Ming that she does not want to be a center of gossip in the school because she wants Ming to be happy to tell everyone that they are a couple. She says that if she had not always been so open and honest, she would not have said all of this. Ming then tells us that she has made up with Ming, but that he still hasn't forgiven her yet. Ming wants to move on with her relationship with xi, so she plans to give him more romantic surprises. Ming thanks Ming for bringing the gift back to him.
