In this chapter, we learn that Unam's father has betrayed her mother and is now living with her grandmother. When Unam asks her mother why she is not there, she tells her that her brother is back and they want her to come back to visit him. She tells her mother that in life, if you meet someone, your good luck is that that person will be your father. In other words, if your dad is lonely, he'll be able to find someone else to take his place. Unam tells her mom that she doesn't want her dad to be lonely for her the rest of her life either, but that she does want him to have someone to take her place.
